Small Cell Backhaul
An important part of deploying small cells are the site connectivity options. The following options are presented: fiber, MW LOS (line-of-sight) and MW NLOS (non-line-of-sight). For NLOS scenario the Aster propagation model is employed to help finding the best antenna bearing using the ray-tracing features.
Small Cell Selection Tool
When deploying the small cells, the user need to work with several Atoll modules, such as the ACP, GIS, propagation modules. To streamline the deployment process Forsk has developed the Small Cell Selection tool. This tool assembles in one place all features required for creating a deployment scenario.
