Forsk is pleased to announce the release of version 5.0 of the Naos RAN planning and optimisation automation platform.

Naos 5.0 supports detailed modelling of large, modern wireless networks (digital twins) and features a cloud-native architecture incorporating open APIs and big-data principles. It dynamically scales processes in the cloud according to computing needs, allowing for the acceleration of critical calculations such as path loss and coverage predictions, thus overcoming the limitations of traditional architectures.

The advanced cloud-native architecture of Naos paves the way for next-generation automated planning and optimisation, helping operators transition to more efficient and automated wireless networks. Future versions of Naos will further extend current capabilities through new use cases and AI-based planning and optimisation functions.
